Cainsville City Hall News

The Cainsville City Council met on Monday March 3rd, 2014. Louise Kellner was present to show the City Council a poster she made with old Cainsville          pictures.  She would like to frame them and put them on display at the Cainsville Community Building.  The Council really liked the idea and gave permission to do so.  Jim Binkley was present to give a report about the Still Building.

The City Council has starting meeting twice a month since January in order to recodify our Ordinances.  We are doing our regular City Business the first      Monday of each month like always.  But we are also meeting on the 3rd Monday of each Month to work on Code Recodification.

There will be a 4th of July meeting on March 16th at the Cainsville Community Building at 2pm. Plans are being made for our 4th of July Celebration.  If you would like to volunteer to help with this event it would be greatly appreciated.  We plan to make it a three day event; starting July 4th with an evening ATV Poker Run, July 5th with parade and exciting new additions and July 6th with Community Church Services and Duck Run.  More details to follow.

Don’t forget to get out and vote April 8th, 2014! Polls open at 6am!
